New York High School Volleyball - Newburgh Free Academy crushed by Cornwall Central
September 11, 2023: Newburgh, NY 12550 The Cornwall Central Dragons topped the host Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Dragons now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middletown for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 13. Cornwall Central will confront a Middie Bears team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Valley Central (Montgomery, NY). The Middie Bears record now stands at 0-4.
The Goldbacks (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Monticello (Monticello, NY). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Monticello was knocked off by Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY), 3-0, in a non-league test.
