September 11, 2023: Albion, PA 16401 In Monday's non-league contest, the General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) volleyball squad edged the host Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA), by a margin of 3-2.
Next up, the Lancers battle the Meadville Bulldogs (Meadville, PA) in a District 10 Region 5 contest, on Thursday, September 14. General McLane will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA).
With the loss, Northwestern drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Erie (Erie, PA) to battle the Royals in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Royals come into the contest with a record of 0-6. Erie lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Iroquois (Erie, PA)
