Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Girard overwhelmed by Lakeview
September 11, 2023: Girard, PA 16417 The Girard Yellowjackets volleyball team (Girard, PA), went down 3-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Lakeview Sailors (Stoneboro, PA)
The Sailors (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Commodore Perry (Hadley, PA). The Panthers come into the District 10 Region 1 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Commodore Perry defeated Calvary Baptist Christian Academy (Meadville, PA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Girard will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Erie (Erie, PA).
