Illinois High School Volleyball - Orr can't hold off Hyde Park
September 11, 2023: Chicago, IL 60637 In Monday's non-league battle, the host Hyde Park Thunderbirds volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Orr Spartans.
The Thunderbirds (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Carver (Chicago, IL). The Challengers come into the Chicago Public Green South battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Carver was edged by Hubbard (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Chicago Sullivan Tigers (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public Blue North battle, on Wednesday, September 13. Orr will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Collins (Chicago, IL).
