Connecticut High School Soccer - Shepaug Valley toppled by Oxford
September 11, 2024: Oxford, CT 06478 Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Oxford moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT) to clash with the Falcons in a Naugatuck Valley test on Friday, September 13. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 2-0. St. Paul Catholic won 7-0 in their recent league test against Derby (Derby, CT)
The Spartans now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Housatonic-Lakeview for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17.
