Virginia High School Football - Staunton defeated by Central Woodstock
September 11, 2024: Staunton, VA 24401 The Central Woodstock Falcons were victorious over the host Staunton Storm football team by a score of 32-18 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons face the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 16. Central Woodstock will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 36-8 non-league win over Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA).
The Storm (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, James River ran past Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA), 27-19, in a non-league challenge.
