September 11, 2024: Valdese, NC 28690 The Chase Trojans were victorious over the host Draughn Wildcats football squad by a count of 44-36 in Wednesday's non-league match.
The Trojans (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Freedom defeated Patton (Morganton, NC), 14-12, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Wildcats meet the Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 19. Draughn will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Warhorses come into the match with a 1-3 record after their 18-12 non-league win over East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC).
