Illinois High School Soccer - Carmel nudged by St. Patrick
September 11, 2024: Chicago, IL 60634 St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL), 1-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, St. Patrick moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Shamrocks host Chicago Academy (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 3-4.
The Corsairs now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Libertyville for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 14. Carmel will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
