September 11, 2024: Statesville, NC 28625 The West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC), 7-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Warriors now hold a 3-6 record. They play next when they host East Lincoln for a Western Foothills 3A challenge on Monday, September 16. West Iredell will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Kings Mountain moves to 0-5 on the year. The Mountaineers host Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC) to encounter the Greenwave in a Big South 3A challenge on Monday, September 16. The Greenwave go into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Ashbrook won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Berry (Charlotte, NC)
