Maine High School Soccer - Thornton Academy nudged by Westbrook
September 11, 2024: Westbrook, ME 04092 Westbrook Blue Blazes (Westbrook, ME) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME), 2-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Westbrook advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Blue Blazes travel to Sanford (Sanford, ME) to clash with the Spartans in a Class A - South test on Friday, September 13. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-2. Sanford lost 9-1 in their recent league test against Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME)
The Trojans now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Scarborough for a Class A - South test on Monday, September 16.
