In Wednesday's non-league match, the Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ), by a final score of 3-0.

Next up, the Scorpions confront the North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A - Desert West match, on Tuesday, September 17. Desert Edge will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Rattlers enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Central (Phoenix, AZ).
