September 11, 2024: Wilmington, DE 19808 In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Newark Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the McKean Highlanders.
The Yellowjackets (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against William Penn (New Castle, DE). The Colonials enter the Blue Hen - Flight A challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, William Penn was beaten by Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Highlanders meet the Dickinson Rams (Wilmington, DE) in a Blue Hen - Flight B challenge, on Friday, September 13. McKean will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE).
