Texas High School Football - Alexander holds off Boerne-Champion

September 11, 2025: Boerne, TX 78006

The Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX) football tipped the host Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX), 35-28 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Veterans Memorial for a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. Alexander will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 53-27 non-league win over Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Boerne-Champion drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Chargers host Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX) to battle the Rangers in a 5A-1 Region IV District 13 contest on Friday, September 19. The Rangers enter the contest with a record of 2-1. Smithson Valley won 42-10 in their recent non-league contest against Madison (San Antonio, TX)
