The Desert Mountain Wolves football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Mountain View Mountain Lions to 0 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wolves now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain Pointe for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Desert Mountain will meet a Pride squad coming off a 37-21 non-league win over Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Pride record now stands at 3-0.

The Mountain Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Desert View (Tucson, AZ). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Desert View bounced Camelback (Phoenix, AZ), 38-15, in a non-league challenge.
