Somerset Bulldogs (Somerset, TX) boosters were happy Thursday as they witnessed their football squad topple the host Jefferson Mustangs (San Antonio, TX), 42-14 in a non-league match.

The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX). The Indians/Squaws enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Jourdanton thwarted Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX), 22-7, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the Harlandale Indians (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 19. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 61-0 non-league win over Edison (San Antonio, TX).
