September 11, 2025: Upton, WY 82730 The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Newcastle Dogies (Newcastle, WY) and the host Upton/Sundance Bobcats (Upton, WY), witnessed Newcastle's football squad knock off Upton/Sundance by a tally of 33-7.
The Dogies (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Big Horn (Big Horn, WY). The Rams go into the 2A East bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Big Horn beat Wheatland (Wheatland, WY), 59-0, in a league bout.
The Bobcats now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Wheatland for a 2A East bout on Friday, September 19. Upton/Sundance will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-0 league loss to Big Horn (Big Horn, WY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
