Nevada High School Football - Galena thwarted by Elko
September 11, 2025: Reno, NV 89511 Elko Indians (Elko, NV) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football squad top the host Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV), 30-7 in a non-league test.
The Indians now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Creek for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25.
With the defeat, Galena drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host McQueen (Reno, NV) to meet the Lancers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 3-2. McQueen won 46-0 in their recent non-league test against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV)
