New Mexico High School Football - Gadsden falls to Mayfield
September 11, 2025: Anthony, NM 88021 The Mayfield Trojans felled the host Gadsden Panthers football team by a score of 33-16 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Trojans now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santa Teresa for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Mayfield will meet a Desert Warriors squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Desert Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Gadsden drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Centennial (Las Cruces, NM) to face the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Centennial lost 22-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin (El Paso, TX)
