September 11, 2025: Newnan, GA 30265 The Northgate Vikings football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Jonesboro Cardinals to 14 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Vikings now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Rockdale County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18.
With the defeat, Jonesboro drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Wednesday, October 8. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 4-1.
