The Wheatland Pirates flag football team (Wheatland, CA), dropped 33-20 in Thursday's non-league bout with the host Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA)

With the win, Placer advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Hillmen travel to Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA) to encounter the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

The Pirates now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Gridley for a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. Wheatland will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 31-6 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
