September 11, 2025: Charleston, WV 25301 The East Fairmont Bees edged the host Charleston Catholic Irish soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Bees now hold a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Preston for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 16. East Fairmont will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV). The Knights record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Charleston Catholic moves to 1-4 on the year. The Irish travel to Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV) to encounter the Big Blacks in a Freelance challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Big Blacks go into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Point Pleasant lost 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lewis County (Weston, WV)
