September 11, 2025: Erwin, TN 37650 The Cocke County Fighting Cocks soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Unicoi County Blue Devils to 0 in the Fighting Cocks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Fighting Cocks now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Cosby for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 16. Cocke County will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Sequoyah (Madisonville, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Unicoi County moves to 1-5 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN) to encounter the Patriots in a AA District 1 contest on Monday, September 15.
