Tennessee High School Soccer - University School knocks off Cumberland Gap
September 11, 2025: Johnson City, TN 37614 Fans at Thursday's league test between the University School Buccaneers (Johnson City, TN) and the visiting Cumberland Gap Panthers (Cumberland Gap, TN), witnessed University School's soccer team triumph over Cumberland Gap by a final score of 7-1.
With the triumph, University School moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN) to meet the Tigers in a A District 1 test on Tuesday, September 16. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Pigeon Forge won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Morristown-Hamblen East (Morristown, TN)
The Panthers now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Chuckey-Doak for a A District 1 test on Tuesday, September 16. Cumberland Gap will meet a Black Knights team coming off a 0-0 non-league Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN). The Black Knights record now stands at 1-4.
