September 11, 2025: Brownsville, TX 78520 Carroll Tigers (Corpus Christi, TX) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their football squad smash the host St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds (Brownsville, TX), 48-8 in a non-league match.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Calallen routed Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX), 20-14, in a non-league battle.
The Bloodhounds now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Harlingen South for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 17.
