September 11, 2025: Pikeville, NC 27863 The C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons felled the visiting Goldsboro Cougars football team by a score of 29-18 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Golden Falcons face the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. C.B. Aycock will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 38-12 non-league win over South Garner (Garner, NC).
With the defeat, Goldsboro drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a test on Thursday, September 25. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-1.
