September 11, 2025: Center, TX 75935 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX) and the host Center Roughriders (Center, TX), witnessed Pine Tree's football squad wallop Center by a tally of 60-12.
The Pirates (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Hallsville crushed Corsicana (Corsicana, TX), 25-12, in a non-league bout.
The Roughriders now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Daingerfield for a non-league match on Thursday, September 18. Center will play a Tigers team coming off a 38-0 non-league loss to Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
