Texas High School Football - Community thwarted by Sanger
September 11, 2025: Sanger, TX 76266 Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Community Braves (Nevada, TX), 24-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Sanger advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Gunter (Gunter, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 17. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Gunter lost 43-38 in their recent non-league battle against Celina (Celina, TX)
The Braves now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Western Hills for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. Community will play a Cougars team coming off a 38-0 non-league loss to Krum (Krum, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
