September 11, 2025: Henrico, VA 23294 Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football squad top the host J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA), 19-0 in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. Mechanicsville will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 42-12 non-league loss to Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, J.R. Tucker drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA) to face the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Atlee won 27-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Godwin (Richmond, VA)
