September 11, 2025: Taylor, MI 48180 Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) boosters were content Thursday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI), 20-0 in a non-league match.
The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Anderson (Southgate, MI). The Titans come into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Anderson was beaten by Allen Park (Allen Park, MI), 51-0, in a non-league battle.
The Griffins now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edsel Ford for a non-league match on Thursday, September 18. Taylor will meet a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 30-22 non-league loss to Trenton (Trenton, MI). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-1.
