September 11, 2025: Byron, IL 61010 In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting St. Bede Bruins soccer squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Byron Tigers.
With the triumph, St. Bede moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bruins host Streator (Streator, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-0. Streator won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL)
The Tigers now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Genoa-Kingston for a non-league outing on Monday, September 15. Byron will confront a Cogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL). The Cogs record now stands at 1-2.
