Kentucky High School Soccer - Lafayette knocks off Lexington Christian
September 11, 2025: Lexington, KY 40503 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY) and the host Lexington Christian Eagles (Lexington, KY), saw Lafayette's soccer squad triumph over Lexington Christian by a count of 6-0.
The Generals (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against South Oldham (Crestwood, KY). The Dragons enter the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last match, South Oldham was overwhelmed by North Oldham (Goshen, KY), 2-0, in a non-league match.
The Eagles now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paul Laurence Dunbar for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 16. Lexington Christian will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-0.
