With the win, Mercer County improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Titans host Washington County (Springfield, KY) to encounter the Commanders in a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. The Commanders enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
Next, the Spartans meet the Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Sayre will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
