September 11, 2025: Farmer City, IL Calvary Christian Academy Knights (Normal, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon Knights (Farmer City, IL), 3-1 in a non-league bout.
The Knights now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Roanoke-Benson/Eureka for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. Calvary Christian Academy will play a Rockets squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon moves to 2-3 on the year. The Knights host St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league game on Monday, September 15.
