Indiana High School Soccer - Covington nudged by First Baptist Christian
September 11, 2025: Covington, IN 47932 First Baptist Christian Knights (Danville, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, First Baptist Christian advances its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Logos Christian Academy (Niles, IL) to clash with the Lions in a Illinois Association of Christian Schools test on Tuesday, September 16. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Logos Christian Academy lost 4-3 in their recent non-league outing against First Baptist Christian (Danville, IL)
Next up, the Trojans play the South Vermillion Wildcats (Clinton, IN) in a Wabash River outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Covington will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record.
