The Elkin Buckin' Elks smashed the visiting Piedmont Classical Bobcats soccer team by a tally of 9-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next, the Buckin' Elks face the Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) in a Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A game, on Monday, September 15. Elkin will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 8-0 non-league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC).
