Ohio High School Soccer - Fairborn knocks off Sidney
September 11, 2025: Fairborn, OH 45324 Fairborn Skyhawks (Fairborn, OH) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sidney Yellowjackets (Sidney, OH), 7-2 in a league test.
With the triumph, Fairborn moves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Skyhawks host Tippecanoe (Tipp City, OH) to clash with the Red Devils in a Miami Valley League - Miami test on Tuesday, September 16. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 6-0. Tippecanoe won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Indian Hill (Cincinnati, OH)
The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Piqua for a Miami Valley League - Miami outing on Tuesday, September 16. Sidney will confront a Indians squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Butler (Vandalia, OH). The Indians record now stands at 6-3.
