Ohio High School Soccer - Teays Valley nudges Groveport-Madison
September 11, 2025: Groveport, OH 43125 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Teays Valley Vikings (Ashville, OH) and the host Groveport-Madison Cruisers (Groveport, OH), saw Teays Valley's soccer squad hold off Groveport-Madison by a score of 2-1.
The Vikings (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH). The Indians come into the Ohio Capital - Buckeye test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Canal Winchester was tipped by Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH), 7-0, in a non-league test.
The Cruisers now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reynoldsburg for a Ohio Capital - Buckeye test on Tuesday, September 16. Groveport-Madison will meet a Raiders team coming off a 3-2 league win over Logan (Logan, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 4-4.
