Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Ridley knocks off Marple Newtown
September 11, 2025: Newtown Square, PA 19073 In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Ridley Raiders soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 win over the Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers.
The Raiders (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA). The Aces enter the Central outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Lower Merion tipped Norristown (Norristown, PA), 6-0, in a non-league test.
The Fightin' Tigers now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Academy Park for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. Marple Newtown will clash with a Knights team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA). The Knights record now stands at 3-3.
