The New Lima Falcons triumphed over the host Butner Eagles softball squad by a count of 18-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weleetka for a Class A battle on Tuesday, September 16. New Lima will confront a Outlaws team coming off a 25-8 non-league win over Okmulgee (Okmulgee, OK). The Outlaws record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Butner moves to 2-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Dewar (Dewar, OK) to meet the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 15. The Dragons go into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Dewar lost 7-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Beggs (Beggs, OK)
