September 11, 2025: Headland, AL 36345 Headland Rams (Headland, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Headland improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Rams host Ashford (Ashford, AL) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a record of 5-4. Ashford lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Geneva (Geneva, AL)
The Purple Cats now own a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dale County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. Ariton will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Daleville (Daleville, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-8.
