The Baxter Springs Lions topped the visiting Fort Scott Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Lions confront the Frontenac Raiders (Frontenac, KS) in a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee game, on Monday, September 15. Baxter Springs will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Raiders go into the game with a 6-5 record after their 0-0 non-league Cherryvale (Cherryvale, KS).
