September 11, 2025: Birmingham, AL 35242 The Briarwood Christian Lions edged the visiting Oak Mountain Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Lions confront the Shelby County Wildcats (Columbiana, AL) in a 5A Area 8 game, on Tuesday, September 16. Briarwood Christian will attempt to better on its 18-1 season record.
With the loss, Oak Mountain drops to 9-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL) to play the Huskies in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Huskies come into the outing with a record of 10-5. Hewitt-Trussville won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Guntersville (Guntersville, AL)
