In Thursday's non-league test, the host Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Catalina Foothills Falcons.

With the win, Ironwood Ridge advances its record to 7-5 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to ALA - Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 7-5. ALA - Queen Creek won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ)

The Falcons now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain View for a 5A - Sonoran test on Monday, September 15. Catalina Foothills will play a Mountain Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Marana (Tucson, AZ). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 4-5.
