Virginia High School Volleyball - Oaktree Academy overwhelmed by Catholic
September 11, 2025: Virginia Beach, VA 23462 The Catholic Crusaders topped the visiting Oaktree Academy Grizzlies volleyball team by a tally of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Crusaders now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Christchurch School for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 17. Catholic will play a Seahorses team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Seahorses record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Oaktree Academy moves to 1-2 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Suffolk Christian Academy (Suffolk, VA) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Monday, September 15. The Knights go into the game with a record of 1-6. Suffolk Christian Academy lost 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA)
