North Fremont Huskies (Ashton, ID) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Leadore Mustangs (Leadore, ID), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Salmon (Salmon, ID). The Savages come into the 3A Nuclear challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Salmon lost by Challis (Challis, ID), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs play the Watersprings (Idaho Falls, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Leadore will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Grace Lutheran (Pocatello, ID).
