In Thursday's non-league match, the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans (Loganville, GA) volleyball squad prevailed the host Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 11. Scholars Guild Academy will attempt to move on its 15-6 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 17-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA).
