With the victory, Mount Ayr upgrades its record to 9-3 on the year. The Raiders host Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Shenandoah lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Harlan (Harlan, IA)
Next, the Trojans face the Madrid Tigers (Madrid, IA) in a West Central test, on Monday, September 15. Pleasantville will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 2-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Earlham (Earlham, IA).
