In Thursday's non-league match, the Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, NE) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Omaha Christian Guardians (Omaha, NE), by a count of 2-1.

In their next game, the Indians encounter the Walthill Blujays (Walthill, NE) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 11. Winnebago will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Blujays go into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Homer (Homer, NE).

The Guardians now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cornerstone Christian School for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18.
