September 11, 2025: Water Valley, MS 38965 The Water Valley Blue Devils volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Palmer Dragons to 0 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Union for a Class 2A Region 2 match on Tuesday, September 16. Water Valley will confront a Urchins squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Myrtle (Myrtle, MS). The Urchins record now stands at 23-3.
The Dragons (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Charleston (Charleston, MS). The Tigers enter the Class 2A Region 3 match with a 2-9 record. In their last match, Charleston was dropped by Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS), 3-0, in a non-league match.
