In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Western Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Pioneer Pioneers.

The Panthers (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Coldwater (Coldwater, MI). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 9-6 record.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Northwest Mounties (Jackson, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Pioneer will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Mounties go into the test with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI).
